Cannon Fodder (2): Females

Lack of instructions and no clear numbering of the parts is a massive downside for me with this kit. What arm goes with what gun? The male set had these all neatly numbered and arrayed, but with this kit none of the parts are numbered or arrayed in such a way that you can see which pairs match together for the best fit. I figured that maybe the layout on the site here could help me out and while the parts are all neatly numbered in a digital mock-up, there is no logic to what matches with what, leading to a somewhat frustrating afternoon piecing everything together.

Other than that, there's a good selection of heads included for variety, the poses are solid and they do what they need to do: provide a decent alternative to other ranges out there.

I'll be up front about this, I mainly bought this kit for the head options.
Because female heads that aren't screaming or sneering are rare to come by unless you have a printer at hand. Which I don't.
The sculpting quality on the faces are great, especially like the ones with the slightly cocky smirk to them. An expression I feel you don't see that often with wargame models.
The only real complaint I have is that hair feels a bit flat and lacking in detail, it's hard to highlight it to make it pop when it's so flat. More braid and pony tail options would've also been nice to see on the sprue.
But they work great with both older and newer Imperial Guard models without being too noticeable out of proportion.
Not to mention, with four sprues worth of heads I'll have lots of them to use.

I should add that the rest of the kit is very nice as well. The weapons are a bit on the blander side design wise, but that's clearly intentional. I'll probably end up using a lot of that stuff for *something* down the line.

It’s for cheap Guard alternatives. This said, they’re surprisingly adaptable to other roles. Scientists, civilians, hostages, prisoners, and so on. With the right arm or head swap you’ve got just about anything you’d like. Why? Well these models are all in boiler suits. Means anyone who would wear a jump suit, space suit, hazmat suit, or unitard style outfit can be made from this set.

very good kit the only thing I didn't care for were the heads the sculpts were fine but I was hoping for different hair. I didn't like the pig tails or the Mohawk bald heads or tom-boy cuts.
the rest was on point. and the zippers were funny Just like the men's. I like that they weren't down showing cleavage. there are plenty of other places to get those kind of models

It was really difficult to find good female kits for kitbashing. This kit gave me a lot of great material to work with, and I love how well sculpted everything is.
